This Privacy Policy explains how Mero ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Mero website and mobile app (the "Service"), a directory that connects customers with trusted service providers in Jordan.

- Account information: your phone number (used for WhatsApp OTP sign-in) and your display name.
- Provider information: for service providers, your business name, bio, service categories, service areas (city and neighborhoods), and work gallery photos you choose to upload.
- Reviews and content: ratings, reviews, and messages you submit.
- Usage and device data: app/website interactions, approximate location you provide to find nearby providers, and standard technical logs (IP address, device type).
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in via WhatsApp one-time passcodes.
- To operate the directory: show providers, service areas, ratings, and enable contact between customers and providers.
- To display reviews and maintain trust and safety (verification, fraud and abuse prevention).
- To improve the Service and provide customer support.
Sharing of information
Provider profiles (name, categories, service areas, ratings, gallery) are public by design so customers can find them. A provider's contact details are only revealed to signed-in users when they choose to contact that provider.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (e.g. hosting, WhatsApp message delivery) and when required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page.
